Remarkably the first CD of his Stax sides from the ex-Howling Wolf and Little Walter sideman who by the 70s was cutting fine funky blues-soul sides in LA with the Crusaders and with the Isaac Hayes Band. Produced in co-operation with Abu Talib (Freddy’s dead as he says).
