Tolonen's 1975 album Hysterica was nearly an international hit, with the band scheduled to appear on a major international tour. However, things didn't work out and the album remains a cult item. Some songs from it, such as Silva The Cat and Windermere Avenue, are perennial favorites on compilations of Tolonen's best work.

The Svart edition features newly done interviews with Tolonen and other key players such as Esa Kotilainen and Häkä Virtanen. The cover is expanded to gatefold format.
