The incredible James Cotton, active since his teens with first a radio show in West Memphis in 1952 and soon followed by a recording session with Sam Phillips at Sun Studios, where he delivered 2 singles in 1953 and 1954, released his official first full length album on Verve in 1967. This amazing set by the legend of mouth harp blues is now available again on Lilith and will startle even the hardest blues listener for the unbelievable power it sparks from its grooves.
