Mike Bloomfield was undoubtedly one of the greatest musicians of his era. Considered by millions of Americans to be on par with Eric Clapton, his influence on fans and fellow musicians was enormous. A maestro of guitar, and an excellent composer and interpreter, he introduced young and old alike to a world of pure and authentic blues. This excellent album was released just after his death.
