The Sons of Champlin were a late '60's San Francisco band that had nothing much in common with their contemporaries, The Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane or Country Joe and the Fish owing to the fact that they had a prominent horn section that gave the band a soul rather than folk feel. "Loosen Up Naturally" was originally released in 1969 on Capitol as a double album.
