GlobeStyle\'s first LP release in March 1985 features what is arguably the most important band to come out of Mali. Full name - Super Rail Band Of The Buffet Hotel De La Gare De Bamako, Mali!! They play \'Mandang\' music from the South West of the country and despite some severe problems such as power cuts and the high costs of new instruments, they have been performing at the Hotel De Bamako since 1970 where they have featured vocalists such as Salif Keita, amongst others.
