A few years ago a bootlegged LP came out (100 copies only) and created a "minor event" in the '60s geeks scene. Story tells that a certain Gregg had found the tapes in a "messy garage", where he had stored "all the material from his once full-time profession of record salesman and producer". But well, as some say, "God only knows" what the real story of this music was. "Painted Brush, according to the booklet inside, were a Mexican band which, between 1966 and 1969, taped this bunch of songs that remained unreleased at the time. A lost '60s gem? Truth is, it actually sounds like one. From the mono sound to the tunes and performances, everything is immersed in an undisputed '60s feel. This is a legitimate LP-edition on 140-gram vinyl,
