Digipack CD
Superb digipack reissue of Spirit's stunning 1968 debut album. Featuring the classics "Fresh Garbage" and "Mechanical World" along with a slew of other tracks from the boy wonder Hendrix student Randy California, Jay Ferguson and their follically challenged but ridiculously qualified drummer Ed "Cass" Cassidy, who's CV reads like a who's who of the 60's jazz game. The musical expertise on display here is incredibly impressive and the eclectic jazz tinged rock'n'roll is complex and eccentric reaching far and wide to create glorious hybrid sounds. This reissue also features four bonus tracks including the essential alternative take of Elijah.>
