Sun Ra was a most creative jazz composer, piano and synthesizer player, who mastered more than 1000 titles in his career.

With various line-ups in his arkestra (misspelled orchestra) he used to change the name, to reflect the differences in style and personnel. SUPER-SONIC JAZZ from SUN RA AND ARKESTRA was recorded in 1956 and was the first album, that got released on his own label SATURN in 1967.
