Formed in 1968, this talented sextet, consisting of three gals and three dudes, named itself after a mountain north of San Francisco and an off-Broadway stage show they'd put together. Their sole album spans hard-edged pop-rock, folk-rock and delicate hippie ballads, setting their superb vocal harmonies to highly imaginative arrangements.
