When bubblegum mod band The Herd began topping the charts in 1967 (first with From the Underworld and then the following year with Paradise Lost and I Don't Want Our Loving To Die), its lead singer and guitarist was only 17 years old. His name was Peter Frampton. Frampton went on to leave the band soon after to form Humble Pie with fellow mod, Steve Marriott, and eventually on to global super stardom... This double LP collects all the greatest hits, B-sides etc. that originally appeared on the label Fontana.
