Sun Ra was a most creative jazz composer, piano and synthesizer player, who mastered more than 1000 titles in his career.

With various line-ups in his arkestra (misspelled orchestra) he used to change the name, to reflect the differences in style and personnel. VISITS PLANET EARTH from SUN RA AND HIS SOLAR ARKESTRA was recorded in 1956-1958 and released on his own label SATURN in 1966.
