10 man mop or mr. reservoir butler rides again

Ten Man Mop or Mr. Reservoir Butler Rides Again is the third studio album by British folk-rock band Steeleye Span, released in December 1971. This album marks the final appearance of founding member Ashley Hutchings, who departed the band shortly after its completion. The recording took place in September 1971 at Sound Techniques studio in London, with Sandy Roberton serving as the producer.

The album continues Steeleye Span's exploration of traditional British folk music, blending it with rock elements. Notable tracks include "Gower Wassail," an adaptation of a traditional Welsh carol, and "When I Was on Horseback," a folk song that has also influenced blues standards like "St. James Infirmary Blues." The album's closing track, "Skewball," features a distinctive interplay between banjo and electric guitar.
