Even though they had proven their songwriting prowess with such self-penned hits as 'Laugh, Laugh' and 'Just a Little' on the Autumn label, for their debut release for Warner Bros. the Beau Brummels recorded this album of covers of smashes by the Beatles, Dylan and even Herman's Hermits. What genius at Warner Bros. came up with this concept remains a mystery, but this was a band that sounded good no matter what the material, as Sal Valentino's vocals and the band's folk-rock sound remained true and strong (but don't listen to us, listen to the multitudes of Beau Brummels fans that have been asking us to put this out)!
