A welcome return to the Ace catalogue for this collection of fine rockabilly from Bernie Harvilles Chicago-based Bandera Records.

Although Bandera never achieved any real commercial success, the shoestring operation managed to record many fine Hillbilly, Blues and Gospel artists thanks to Bernies hard work and enthusiasm and his mothers contacts in the music business.

Also includes a lavish booklet in the finest Ace tradition, featuring copious label reproductions and supremely informative sleeve-notes from Ray Topping.

This CD was previously available with a different title, but has been redesigned after threatening letters from a certain hat company...
