This is the first two volumes of previously unreleased BBC Radio 1 sessions by Family and features versions of original songs never before available on LP.  Also included here is the official release of the group’s version of J.B. Lenoir’s “I Sing Um The Way I Feel”.  Covering the period from late 1968 up to mid-1969 these recorded sessions are taken from the original transcription tapes and feature one of Britain’s finest bands playing in the studio, but with an edge that is normally only captured in live performances.
