M.Z. is a new duet that shouldn't be underestimated ! The band actually blends the initials of Marc FORTUNATO (Bass, keyboards & programming), and Zan DANG (Guitar & keyboards). Those two French musicians met in 1996 and performed together for more than a year in ASHES AND DUST. Their instrumental music can remind of STRATOVARIUS and Yngwie MALMSTEEN. The compositions included in "Blood Is Life", an album issued in 2000 on the Brennus label, are completely different from the usual instrumental releases of solo guitarists. No doubt about it, those musicians' bib was filled by a blend of heavy-metal, classical music and Progressive rock. Not to be missed !
