Australian based gods the Easybeats cut throughout the sixties some of the best British invasion albums anywhere. Easy, their first album recorded in 1965, includes 14 tracks in pure British beat / R&B style that remind of bands like the Merseybeats, the Mojos, the Hollies and of course, the Beatles.
Undisputedly the biggest Australian act at the time, they were thrown to international stardom with their worldwide hit "Friday on my mind", and given a cult band status ever since.
