CD reissue of ultra rare Deroy label private Jubilee folk LP from 1974. An atmospheric recording made at Durham University by various local groups, duos and troubadours performing a lively range of traditional British music and origal compositions to the more hippie-esque folksong of Tripped-Out Tarquin and the sublime jigs and medleys of Lambskinnet. One for serious folkies into Barry Dransfield, Ewan MacColl, Tir Na Nog and Shirley Collins etc. A Vital snapshot of the mid 70s Northern folk club scene. The artists include Lambskinnet, Tripped-Out Tarquin, Laurie Burns, Orme, and many other artists from the Mary's Folk Club ensemble including special guest appearances and floor spot renditions.
