Fiaba was the second and final studio album by Turin progressive rock group Procession. Following the heavier, guitar-led approach of their debut Frontiera, the band returned with a substantially altered line-up and a broader, more sophisticated musical direction.

The album combines melodic Italian progressive rock with symphonic passages, intricate rhythms and occasional jazz-rock touches. Roby Munciguerra’s guitar is joined by prominent saxophone and flute, while the active bass lines and expressive percussion give the music a fluid and adventurous character. Keyboards are used selectively, allowing the wind instruments and vocals to remain at the centre of the arrangements.

Alternating between forceful ensemble sections, quieter atmospheric passages and extended instrumental development, Fiaba has become one of the most highly regarded recordings from the Italian progressive scene of the 1970s. This limited edition restores the album in its original gatefold presentation and presses it on 180-gram clear green vinyl.
