Blue Öyster Cult – Fire Of Unknown Origin is the band's celebrated eighth studio album, originally released in 1981. Produced by Martin Birch, it combines the group's powerful hard-rock attack with atmospheric keyboards, memorable melodies and the darker, more mysterious character that had become one of Blue Öyster Cult's trademarks.

The album includes “Burnin' For You”, one of the band's best-known songs, alongside the dramatic “Veteran Of The Psychic Wars”, the title track, “Joan Crawford” and “Sole Survivor”. Across its nine tracks, Fire Of Unknown Origin moves between melodic hard rock, heavy riffs and more cinematic, progressive passages.

This Culture Factory USA Vinyl Replica Deluxe edition recreates the presentation of the original LP in miniature CD format. The black disc resembles a vinyl record, while the original-style sleeve and inner packaging are reproduced in detail. The audio has been remastered in 96 kHz / 24-bit high definition.
