gasoline alley

gatefold 180 gram LP embossed cover, re-mastered reissue of the original 1970 album released on Vertigo
One of the best selling British recording artists of all time (six consecutive number 1 albums and 24 top ten singles!), Rod Stewart, along with playing in the Jeff Beck Group and the Faces, was also releasing solo work as well. Released in 1970, this is Rod Stewart's second solo effort, a rocking acoustic folk album of considerable inspiration and conviction in a style that Stewart developed and honed and which dipped into Stewart's working class Scottish origins. Featuring a mix of original work and well selected and executed covers, Stewart's unique and true voice, shines through.Track Listing - Side A: 1. Gasoline Alley 2. It's All Over Now 3.
