Il re del castello contains some recordings of the first line up of the group, dating back to the period 1969-1970: to be precise, some songs recorded during the sessions of Sirio 2222 but not included on the album (“Accidenti”, “Il re del castello”, instrumental version of the song “Cominciò per gioco” appeared as side B of the single “Neve calda”, and an instrumental version of Neve calda) and four songs recorded in Spanish (including a cover of Eternità by the Camaleonti.

"Il Re del Castello" is part of their album "Ys," which was released in 1972. The track is known for its complex and progressive musical style, with influences from psychedelic rock and the progressive rock of that era.
