The group consisted of Vangelis Papathanassiou (who later became known simply as Vangelis), Demis Roussos, Loukas Sideras, and Anargyros "Silver" Koulouris. They gained international recognition for their experimental and innovative music.

Their most famous album is "666," a double album released in 1972, which is a concept album based on the biblical Apocalypse of St. John. It's considered a landmark in the progressive rock genre, blending rock, psychedelic, and avant-garde elements.

However, before "666," they had other successful songs and albums in Europe, including tracks like "Rain and Tears," which was a hit in the late 1960s. After "666," the band disbanded, and its members pursued solo careers, with Vangelis and Demis achieving significant success worldwide.
