This album is the first collaboration between Areski and Brigitte Fontaine. Great work, originally recorded for BYG. It mixes folk and ethnic music in a style similar to many experimental English folk rock bands of the period. In a perfect symbiosis with Brigitte Fontaine’s magnificent voice and surrealist texts, Areski creates a minimalist ethno-folk acoustic universe. Fantastic blend of otherworldly vocals with spare instrumentation -electric piano, flute, bandoneon, and percussion.
