Colosseum, live on John Peel’s ‘Sunday Concert’, London March 8th 1970 This storming radio broadcast by Britain's pioneering progressive jazz-rockers was performed between the releases of their Valentyne Suite and Daughter Of Time LPs, and not long before the existing line-up changed. It finds them at the height of their powers, tackling a cross-section of material, including numbers by Mike Taylor, Jack Bruce and Michael Gibbs, and is presented here with background notes and images.
