In the early 1970s, the folk-rock duo Gothic Horizon, formed with Richard Garrett, was active. Following this, Andy Desmond, released his debut solo album, "Living On A Shoestring," under Ray Davies' Konk label, established after The Kinks. The album has been cherished by British folk-rock fans for many years.
