Love, Poetry and Revolution: A Journey Through the British Psychedelic and Underground Scenes 1966-1972 is a 3CD anthology from Cherry Red’s UK psychedelic imprint, Grapefruit. Presented in a clambox with a lavishly illustrated and annotated 36-page booklet, the collection offers a wide-ranging trip through Britain’s late 1960s and early 1970s underground music culture.

The set brings together rare singles, cult recordings and previously unissued material, including demo recordings by Tintern Abbey and Blossom Toes. Major underground names such as The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown, Hawkwind and The Deviants appear alongside acts responsible for some of the rarest albums of the era, including Forever Amber, Complex and Peter Howell & John Ferdinando.
