French guitarist's Denis MOOG's first album contains unusual music: "Masques" (1993) has been ordered by Jean POIRSON for his marionettes theatre located in Metz. It was planned to illustrate "Matamor", a piece that has been awarded with the Golden Lion in the Vencice's Goldoni Bicentennial Carneval. Instrumental compositions mix electronic and natural sounds together, evoking climates which range from a return to infancy to a frenetic dance of death. Despite the use of samplers, this is definitely not new-age. It could also tend to be close to new musics. That's worth the try !
