A great vinyl reissue of this much sought after 1972 album from the Uruguayan scene. Montevideo Blues was founded by Gaston "Dino" Ciarlo as a way to fuse the rawness of rock music with obscure native Uruguayan styles s.a. malambo, milonga and chamarrita. This music is really grooving, edgy and features excellent angular guitar work. The insert is packed with photos, detailed band history, and lyrics.
