Originally Released 1997 'Moshi Moshi' is different to the older Guru Guru material. More or less it is straight ahead rock fusion. But still there are a few late Guru Guru live classics on 'Moshi Moshi', like 'Tamil Nadu' and the somewhat spacey-like 'Sky Lab'. Also 'Don´t Worry About The Koto' and the radio-friendly 'Jet Lag'. The band remains active to this day and also has a huge following in Japan where they have often toured. Mr. GURU GURU himself, Mani Neumeier, one of the greatest drummers ever is a German rock icon. 'Moshi Moshi' will be released as deluxe edition digipak with enhanced booklet and the bonus live track 'Elektrolurch-Mutation', recorded July 1998 at the Immeldorf Open Air in Germany. This 13 minute version of the Guru Guru classic 'Der Elektrolurch' was played by the same line-up that is on the album.
