Originally released on Decca in 1972.

The group was founded in the early 1960s under the name The Black Fellows and did well in the Ghent club circuit as a dance band. The home of the band was the TF Club (the later Theater Arena) and the manager was the Ghent police brigadier Walter Hellbyck. After three years, the group name was changed to New Inspiration under a new manager.

Their debut single I Got a Feeling (1967) became a hit and one of Radio Caroline's favorite albums. Later recordings such as You Made a Fool or Me (1967), I See No Reason Why (1968), Mister Moody (1969) and Happy Charly Madman (1969) also became relative hits. The group was allowed to make recordings in England and some songs appeared on the prestigious Apple label of The Beatles. Due to many personnel changes, however, the group fell apart around 1970. Band members included Danny Sinclair, Daniel Prove and Gilbert Remue. Danny Sinclair decided to start a solo project.

Shortly afterwards, manager Jacques Verdonck created a "new" New Inspirations with pivotal figures Guido Wolfaert and Eddy Vander Linden. The group achieved some new successes with songs like Rainbow I Love You (1970) and Judy Please (1969).
