Mama Lion was a blues/rock band formed in the early seventies by Canadian bass player, singer/songwriter & producer Neil Merryweather and American singer, songwriter, model, and actress Lynn Carey. Wonderful CD reissue, with the original gimmick cover that shows female singer Lynn Carey breastfeeding a lion cub when you open the gatefold cover. This is the first of two albums by the North- American band, 1972, delivering a blend of blues, pop, soul and rock.
