Produced and sung by Fabrice and Paula GUITTARD respectively, MOONSTONE's eponymous album had to honour the guitar! The quartet forming the skeleton of this present French combo excels in a brilliantly played hard-rock style, sung in perfect English. The music sometimes reminds of that of Lana LANE or Melissa ETHERIDGE.

The band started in 1994 as SLACKER, and first worked out with a few well-chosen covers (AC/DC, HELLOWEEN, KISS...), before setting out in the writing of its own compositions. As its predecessor, "The Second Rune" (2003) was published on the Brennus label. This brilliant opus develops an elegant, melodic and powerful music, in line with the new heavy-metal wave that rages these days throughout Europe. Not to be missed!
