Released in 1956 ‘Saxophone Colossus’ became soon one of the milestones in Jazz history. The tracklist contains a mix of Rollins originals and two interpretations – for example ‘Moritat’ – a standard of Brecht and Weills ‘The Beggar’s opera’.
