Kind of a Turkish folk album, but much more. Featuring moments of electronica, psych funk and anatolian rock, this 1976 debut album (making it's debut on CD) from selda Bagcan is a real find. Her tales of freedom of speech and quality of human life got her in to trouble with the Turkish authorities and won her praise from the critics and communities throughout the world. Originally a twelve track album, this release features five tracks recorded during the same sessions. Booklet features liner notes by Andy Votel and includes rare photos.
