Shiloh was a short-lived American country-rock band formed in 1969, featuring notable musicians like Don Henley, who would later become famous with the Eagles. The band, based in Texas, aimed to blend rock, country, and folk influences, capturing the spirit of the era’s roots rock movement. Their only self-titled album, Shiloh, was released in 1970 and showcased the band's harmony-driven sound and country sensibilities, although it didn’t achieve commercial success. After the band disbanded, Henley's career skyrocketed, making Shiloh an interesting early glimpse into his musical evolution.
