The alternative industrial rock group was formed by orginal Nine Inch Nails touring guitarist Richard Patrick and guitarist/programmer Brian Liesegang. The album was originally released in 1995 and includes the hit single “Hey Man Nice Shot”. The track was heavily played by alternative radio and MTV in the States and soon reached gold status. “Hey Man Nice Shot” was also included on the soundtrack for the movie Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight in 1995 before Short Bus was released. In need of a live band to tour, Patrick and Liesegang recruited Geno Lenardo on guitar, Frank Cavanagh on bass, and Matt Walker on drums, who are also featured in the video for the album’s second single, “Dose”.

In support of the Short Bus album, Filter toured with The Smashing Pumpkins in Europe. Short Bus will now finally be available again on vinyl. The first pressing of the re-issue will be available as an exclusive run of hand numbered copies on solid green vinyl! SIDE A
