Hailed as a psychedelic classic, 'Tangerine Dream' has long been a fabled work among collectors and students of English Sixties rock. Here is the original collection of melodic, whimsical and imaginative songs that typified the Kaleidoscope style and ensured them a lasting place in rock history. The band was fronted by Donovan-influenced singer Peter Daltrey, and included co-writer Eddie Pumer (guitar), Steve Clark (bass) and Danny Bridgman (drums). The 1967 recording 'Tangerine Dream' won Kaleidoscope an underground cult following. Included among the tracks is their debut single, 'Flight From Ashiya' - the tale of a doomed flight inspired by the book of the same name. The original album is augmented by with single mixes of 'Flight From Ashiya', Please Excuse My Face' and 'Holiday Maker'. Peter Daltrey also tells the full story of Kaleidoscope, its songs and ultimate destiny in an exclusive interview for the CD notes.
