Eight live recordings and four previously unreleased studio tracks from one of the greatest punk bands ever. The American In Me speeds back to a time when the Avengers dominated the US punk scene with brutal, desiccating guitar sonics and the intense, honest vocals of Penelope Houston. Includes two songs produced by the Sex Pistols' Steve Jones and liner notes by legendary rock journalist Greil Marcus.
