The father of four jazz playing sons, most famously Wynton and Branford, Ellis Marsalis has also been teacher to a slew of young jazz players, including Harry Connick Jr. The undoubted patriarch of modern jazz in New Orleans cut these sides in 1961 for AFO set up by Harold Battiste.
