God gave Rock and Roll to us with a little help from Argent. Fronted by keyboardist Rod Argent and guitarist Russ Ballard back in 1968, the band had a string of hits including 'Hold Your Head Up' and 'God Gave Rock and Roll to You', later covered by Kiss for the film "Bill & Teds Bogus Journey".

Definitely one of the best rock bands of the 70's.
