After the extensive efforts of the first 2 albums by Mick Stevens from 1972/75 (See The Morning / No Savage Word) here are his slightly later album from 1977 + 1979. The first 2 where recorded at small Deroy studios this time both albums where recorded at Spaceward studios , a studio famous for early recordings of Bauhaus, Bill Bruford, Gary Numan, Hawkwind, Julian Cope, Mandy Morton, Modern English, Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, The Stranglers and many others. The sound, the songs and the vibe is just more sophisticated than on the first 2 albums. All great songs, mostly electric and some acoustic, great lyrics and Mick's voice just amazing.
