tom sings the beatles

180 gram LP
Tom Jones' career as the king of crooners has spanned over four decades. Both sexy and sophisticated Tom and his unmistakable golden baritone defined an entire era. At the height of the British Invasion, when it seemed like every other musician had traded in his guitar for a sitar and a bong, Tom was quietly climbing the charts as the James Bond of the music industry: 007 with a microphone. Like Sinatra, Elvis, or the Beatles, you can not define Tom by comparing him to anyone else, he is simply Tom Jones. So perhaps it is fitting that throughout his career he has always been drawn to the music of the Beatles, and his cover versions of the Fab Four have become classics in their own right.
