After a break of several years from recording in her own right, (during which time she guested on albums by Vangelis, Wishbone Ash, Jon Anderson & Steve Howe) Claire Hamill returned to the music scene with this innovative album that saw contributions from Gary Numan, Dick Morrisey and many more.
'Touchpaper' featured such memorable songs as ï¾'First Night in New York', ï¾'Denmark', ï¾'The Moon is a Powerful Lover' and ï¾'Ultra Violet Light'. The record would later be an influence on the Ambient Dance scene a decade later and ranks as one of Claire's most unique works.
